Warren Valdmanis

Managing Partner

Warren joins FoW Partners as a legacy member of the Two Sigma Impact team. Warren comes to FoW Partners from Bain Capital where he was a Managing Director. During his tenure at Bain Capital, Warren worked with the firm’s North American private equity business, and then with the firm’s Asian private equity business, where he helped to expand the firm’s capabilities in Japan and was instrumental to the opening of Bain Capital’s office in Sydney. During his final three years at Bain Capital, Warren worked for Bain Capital Double Impact where he helped to launch the firm’s first dedicated social impact fund and develop the firm’s strategic approach to social impact investing.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, he was a Manager at Bain & Company covering a wide variety of industries across Bain & Company’s North American, European, and South African operations.

In 2020, Warren and co-author Michael O’Leary published Accountable: The Rise of Citizen Capitalism (HarperCollins), which draws on their experiences as socially-oriented investors and outlines a better path for corporations – one with accountability to a deeper purpose which they believe can make capitalism both prosperous and good.

Warren received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. cum laude in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Community Involvement

Warren is a founding member of the Aspen Institute Worker Voice in Corporate Governance Lab and is involved in local non-profits in his hometown of Portland, Maine as well as the board of Dartmouth School for Social Impact.
