Amar joins FoW Partners as a legacy member of the Two Sigma Impact team. Amar comes to FoW Partners from H.I.G. Capital, where he led consumer sector investing and supported investment efforts in other verticals for the firm’s Middle Market private equity group.
Prior to H.I.G. Capital, Amar was a global private equity, structured equity, and credit investor at Centerbridge Partners and a private equity professional at Bain Capital. He has served on the boards of several companies including ResiXperts, IndiMade Brands, Heartland Food Products Group, P.F. Chang’s, True Food Kitchen, Billabong, Pei Wei, and CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries. Prior to entering principal investing, Amar was a strategy consultant at Bain & Company.
Amar earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in engineering from Columbia University.
